Icy conditions remain in some areas

Gore District local roads are wet and temperatures are warmer this morning, howevermice has been reported on roads in the Waikaka/Chatton/Otama area. Roads in other parts of the district may also be affected. Gritting is underway.

Please also be wary of grit, which can also be slippery, remaining on some other sections of road from past days.
