• A child can leave the residence of one joint care-giver to visit or stay at the residence of another joint care-giver (and visit or stay at that residence) if there is a shared bubble arrangement.
• A person can leave their residence to visit or stay at another residence (and visit or stay at that residence) under a shared bubble arrangement if:

If you are having difficulty meeting mortgage repayments, you may want to contact your bank and ask for advice about the possibility of being given a mortgage holiday.

As always, please contact us if you are in genuine hardship. We can organise a payment plan with you using our direct debit facility. Direct Debit payments can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or by instalment, which can help smooth payments.

Please contact us via email rates@goredc.govt.nz or phone 03 209 0330, and someone will be in touch to help you with a payment plan.

It is important to remember that essential council services are still in operation and we also have financial commitments, many to small local businesses.

Our Services

Street Cleaning

Our contractor will continue to clean the streets twice a week. It is important to keep our kerb and channels clear of debris. This is due to debris creating major issues by blocking stormwater drains when it rains, which causes surface flooding.

The contractor is totally isolated in their vehicle, and poses no threat to the community.
