The Gore District Council is committed to consulting with its residents and ratepayers.

To make it easier to have conversations with our community we have an engagement hub Let's Talk - Kōrero Mai Gore District.

This is a space for Gore District residents to share ideas, discuss important topics, provide feedback on the Council's plans and help shape the future of our District. The hub is regularly updated with project information and about ways for you to have your say.

To be part of our conversation just go to Let's Talk - Kōrero Mai Gore District

Residents' Survey

Each year we carry out a residents' survey. The survey is available online as well as via phoning random numbers. It aims to find out what residents think about specific services and facilities, and how they feel about the District and the Council's performance. You can see surveys from previous years on our residents' survey page.

Our Significance and Engagement Policy lets people know what we will consult on, and when and how we will consult. You can read more about the policy on our Significance and Engagement Policy page.
