These positions offer an exciting opportunity to move into the local government sector. You will become an integral part of our wide-ranging Council business and ensure our financial processes run smoothly.
A fundamental part of these roles will be providing sound financial management support and advice to budget holders for decision-making including guidance on the development of business cases, budget management, reporting, robust financial analysis and forecasting.
You will also report on financial information relating to capital projects, prepare financial modelling with a demonstrated ability to understand and clearly explain financial transactions.
A tertiary level accounting qualification is essential with either membership of, or working towards membership of CAANZ preferred.
