Gardener Labourer

About the role

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who will be responsible for general parks and maintenance of the Council’s Parks and Reserves areas, primarily the urban shrub plots in both Gore and Mataura, including the nursery. In addition, assist with the day-to-day management of the Council’s propagating areas, in conjunction with the Lead Hands.

About You

Basic horticultural qualification.

At least 1 year of experience in the horticultural or in a similar industry. Good computer skills.

Team-oriented and positive attitude.

You must be reliable, meticulous and have an organised approach to work with the ability to follow instructions.

You will enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done! A good level of fitness.

A full, current driver's license with endorsement appropriate to the position
