Residents are invited to take part in our yearly Garden Drive-through event on Wednesday 23 October 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
This event, a joint initiative between the Ready for Living and Parks teams, has become much-loved in our community. The event is designed to make our Parks more acceible to those in the community with mobility issues - although everyone is welcome to participate!
“As a Council, we are proud to open up our parks in a way that’s accessible for all,” said Keith McRobie, Parks and Recreation Manager. “This event provides an opportunity for everyone in our community, especially those who may struggle to get out and about, to enjoy the wonderful green spaces Gore has to offer.”
Participants will be able to drive through Bannerman Park and The Gore Gardens. The initiative highlights the Council’s ongoing commitment to ensuring inclusivity and accessibility across its services.
