Hokonui Heritage Centre

Located in Gore's heritage precinct, the heritage centre features the Gore Historical Museum and the Hokonui Heritage Research Centre.

Hokonui Heritage Research Centre

This centre is currently closed. The heritage centre will reopen along with the new Maruawai Centre (formerly the Salvation Army building).

In the meantime, messages for the Hokonui Heritage Centre team can be taken at the Gore Visitor Centre. When open, it has resources designed for those wishing to undertake local history or genealogical research.
