The Gore airfield is on 40ha owned by the Council.
There are three grass runways. The main runway 01/19 is 1270m long, with shorter crossing runway vectors 06/24 and 12/30.
There
are no landing fees and plenty of tie down space available for those
staying. Landing lights are available by arrangement. Also BP Avgas
& Jet-A1 are available by swipe card on field.
The Gore Aero Club operates from the site, and offers flying instruction. For more information about the club go to its website.
Two aerial fertiliser spreading companies operate from the airport as well.
