Playgrounds
There are 23 playgrounds in Gore and Mataura. While some are small neighbourhood play areas, many provide a variety of safe play equipment for children and are popular family picnic areas.
The playground at Hamilton Park is wheelchair accessible.

Gore Kids Hub
The Council and Gore Kids Hub Trust, along with community sponsorship, are behind this unique play area for small children.
Mataura Pump Track
A pump track is a continuous loop of round bumps and banked turns your ride by pumping, not pedalling. The track is asphalted and includes three levels to cater for different riding abilities.
The Mataura Pump Track is located in Tulloch Park.
